Business Management Minor Declaration Intent Form

The Business Management Minor is a free-standing graduate minor available to masters and doctoral students at the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities. A minimum of 8 credits (Masters students) or 12 credits (PhD students) must be completed in order for the minor to be awarded.

Please review Business Management Minor coursework in consultation with your faculty adviser and/or Director of Graduate Studies (DGS) to ensure your plan fulfills minimum graduate education and program requirements. In addition to this declaration form, graduate students must also register their minor with the Graduate Student Services & Progress Office by following the instructions on this website.

Effect of Enrollment
Per Graduate School policy, credit for Business Management Minor courses cannot be counted for primary program degree requirements. All decisions regarding credit fulfilling primary degree requirements rest with your home program. Further, credit for business courses is not transferable to the MBA Program at the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management.
